Dear Parents, As summer is approaching and the school year is coming to a close, consider a week-long math session that gives your children hands-on and minds-on experience that is quite different from the ordinary classroom routine. Three months is a long time to stay away from anything especially math, it can make the next school year more challenging than it needs to be. Take a look at the session provided this year and try one session. It will be well worth your investment. Hands-on is really important. Let me ask you a question, would you like to be told how to cook your favortie, tasty meal, or try your hand at atleast part of it and then finally get to eat it. It's like that with learning, sometimes our learning is told to us, however much of the questions that would NATURALLY come about, don't get to make it to the surface, because there is no reason or understanding for it. Our minds are already equipped to investigate to be curious, we need to nurture it and it will grow beyond our own expectations. Get on board and invest in the future of your children! We will explore mathematic topics through a balance of interactive and collaborative thinking as well as individual reflection and skill building. Math is all around us, the younger we are when we use it, the more prepared we are to understand and communicate to others about the world around us. |
